The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences was established in the year 2016 to facilitate and fulfill the needs of higher education in the Pharmacy field. Currently, the Department is running B. Pharmacy, M. Pharmacy (Pharmacognosy) and Ph.D. (Pharmaceutical sciences). The Department is approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. B. Pharmacy programme, was intake of 60 seats which are filled through the entrance examination conducted by HSTES. In the Ph.D. Programme, at present 02 research scholars are actively engaged in the doctoral work. The Department provides good opportunities for research at doctoral level on a variety of topics in conventional and inter-disciplinary areas with other departments and institutions. A number of Pharmacy-based activities like Extension lectures, seminars and workshops are organized regularly. Every year, many students qualify GPAT exam. The Department is actively engaged in organizing various co-curricular and outreach activities for the overall personality development of the students.
